Need to borrow or rent one if it's close.

Standard 308 gauge, IIRC the 6.5CM is based off the 308 case - like my .260 is.

308 won't work. The shoulder is pushed back on the Creed so long bullets can be seated out farther rather than into the case (in a standard short action). That's why it's a different cartridge than the 260 Remington or older 6.5-308 wildcats.
Sorry, Speed3, I don't have. When I chamber something new, I'll rent them with a reamer from 4D.

I've spent 3 hours last night looking for one and No luck. PTG direct didn't have one either.

Maybe i can find a Smith locally that has one? Of not then I'll use a fired case as last resort.

Elkridge and 4D both have them for rent.
    $20 for 7 days at 4D

$30 for 3 days at Eldridge.

And the 30TC traces it's lineage back to the 308Win as well.

But with the shoulder set-back, yeah a 308 gauge isn't going to work, so I stand corrected. :o

EABCo shows 6.5CM gauges in stock, $27 (Forster).

I found the eabco guage last night, when you go to check out it's backordered.

Thanks for the tip on 4D. Ok give them a shot. Barrel should be here soon, fingers crossed.
