The thing that doesn't add up is the wait times are still far exceeding the amount of increase in applications when you compare them proportionally. I did the numbers in another thread and can't remember them exactly (and am too tired to look right now) but it's pretty far off.

And we are getting Not Disapproved apps back that the MSP had NTN#'s from 3-4 weeks PRIOR to them faxing them to us. Basically they had COMPLETED Paperwork sitting because someone isn't doing their job.

Been waiting since 4/19, they're really making leaps and bounds...

Don't expect to hear anything for at least another 2-3 weeks.

Now that is frustrating! It's one thing if msp is busting their ass but they're not apparently.

I know of dealers who have actually been having to call in to FLD and get new NTN's because the ones they were getting were over 30 days old on the ppw when they got it back.

Thats bad, Im sure this will bite them in the lawsuit. Especially with the expired nics numbers.

Correct, at one point at the height of the madness the MSP was being truthful about the #'s and appeared to be busting butt to catch up.

Now, the #'s show they are doing something different.

Saw this on Yahoo! Sgt. Marc Black of MSP says applications have gone to 47,000 backlog. They are working 21 hours a day to help clear them. Perhaps the MSI lawsuit has made them a little more forthcoming with information...

If MSP really wanted to dig into the backlog, when they cleared someone they would apply that clearance to all the applications he currently has in the system. It's a pretty easy to implement, common sense approach to the problem.
