It will be relatively quiet, but you will get a lot of gas in your face. Large volume is your friend with cans for sub guns.

I bought the Lage internal and external suppressor gas blocks to see if they will help with the trident9. I still have a feeling I will be choking on gas.

I have both and I think my Can is larger... still lots of gas. I would suggest googles but it will work.

Here is another fun upper option for your new MAC. The AMP 10 upper which uses Suomi mags. This is a fellow MDS member doing a 71 round mag dump yesterday. The can is a Thompson Machine SG and the ammo is not subsonic.
