I have been wanting a K11 for quite some time and declined the billboard ones that have been available. Passed up one at a show this year that was not too bad but seller would not budge from $450
This one was a private sale at a reasonable price which was the same price as Classic had them for + Shipping. Bonus is no import mark at all! Very nice bore and sharp crown. Minor stock repair that looks like it was done long ago. The bolt knob is not cracked at all.

Took the Winchester and One of the Springfields Out along with a Taurus Thunderbolt i picked up about a month ago at a pawn for 375. All functioned well and shot pretty good but the Winchester shot a little better. This was after sighting in at 50 yards. First target at 100 so i had to adjust a bit after the first few shots on the bottom. ..

I'll be getting this next Saturday. A Waffen-marked Frommer Model 37M in .380 ACP. Mint barrel and decent enough bluing, this pistol likely was a Luftwaffe service sidearm. Recently imported no less, I got it for 450. Pretty sure I did very good :D

Femaru not Frommer - Frommer designed it, Femura (later FEG) made it.
All the P37(u)'s made for Germany were Luftwaffe contract guns in 7.65mm (S/N 1 to 85,000-ish)
Once you get it post up some closeups of the markings, it may be a Hungarian Army (or commercial) that was "appropriated" by Zee Germans.
The Hungarian pistols are 9mm Kurtz (.380 ACP).
I can barely make out that there's a Waffenamt in the proper place on the trigger guard but can't read the slide legend - but writing looks too long for a 7.65 pistol

Here's a good example of markings and whatnot, although it doesn't have matched mags.

The German contract pistols were originally issued with two mags numbered to the gun.

Interested in seeing more pics of this one as well when you get it in hand Cruacious! Does look like it has the Hungarian 37M markings and not the German contract P.Mod.37 markings. Definitely curious to see if it has waffenamts as I don't know I've ever seen one with 37M markings and German waffenamts. Love those little guns, have owned several of the German contract model but sold all but one.

Additionally, I thought the German contract pistols had a thumb safety. I have one in .380... right era, but it is either commercial or Hungarian military (I can't remember which it is) without the thumb safety. The one I have is near perfect... to the point almost that it might be refinished long ago. I love these guns as well.... OP, congrats on the pick up, no matter what its history turns out to be.

A good reference for these I've bookmarked in the past... http://www.tague.at/pistolen/pages/en_m37.htm

The P37 is a very under-rated pistol and a nice piece of history. There isn't very much that can go wrong with them; good, because replacement parts aren't the easiest things to find these days. You got it for a good price. I think you're going to have a lot of fun together.

I picked up a P64 not because I needed one, more like I had the money and said why not, it's small, cheap, doesn't take up much room in the safe, gives me one more reason to buy 9x18 mak ammo, got to get my wife to go shoot it it might become her favorite. Which means I can look for another C&R like a 9mm star!
