USA built like a tank. Regulated in .25 caliber probably tune it to 40-60fpe for around 40 shots per fill.
Should be a nice quiet crow popper out to at least 150yds

Well it will be arriving for sure this week.......but in the mean time I picked up this Sumatra in a trade with Ohen Cepel in the classifieds. Took the pic for size comparison to my Crosman 1720T. Really sweet gun - Thanks Steve!

Here is my sight-in at 25yds.

Then moved back to 50yds. The gun has a "retracting-bolt". You push all the way forward (past the slot) to seat the pellet and then pull backl and drop down in slot. This ensures the bolt is out of the air path. It's takes a little muscle memory to get used to and on the 4th shot below I forgot and did not put the pellet all the way forward. Realized it as soon as I pulled the trigger.

Here are my sight-ins (50yds) once I got the regulator and hammer spring set exactly where I wanted it.

Been windy this past week but 5 out of 7 shots in each mag are in one hole every time at 50yds. It's a real nice gun. Not as powerful as your Texan, but plenty for anything smaller then a deer.

Exactly where I want to be
My little range is only marginal. 25 - 30 yrds. Definitely enough though to check bullet brutallity:party29::party29: Got some new ammo from Mr. Hollowpoint and they didn't even leave the block partially intact. In fact, the last shot with the 495g Spitzer took it out and off the stand in 3 or 4 pieces. I'm not a hunter but I wonder what that would penetrate and take down as far as game is concerned?!?!?!?!?

I use the general estimation for body shots that you need 1FPE at the Target for each pound the animal weighs. So for a 200lb whitetail I would want at least 200FPE at the range the deer is.

As I said, I've never hunted and hopefully will never have to, but my preference would brain stem - instant and absolute!!!
