    Well, to be sure I could have bought stripped lowers for less but then where's the fun in that?:D

    You pay less when they have serial numbers and are registered with the crown. :)

    Don't forget transfer and MSP fees. Still saving money?

    Yes sir, fun, that's my problem and with different lowers out there, well need I say more. Looking at some 9mm 80% lowers now that use Colt mags, may have settled on one.

    On a side note the 5D tactical "PRO" jig is awesome as the pro version replaces the collet arrangement, they call it Readymill. At one time it seemed I was collecting jigs, may start lending, again.

    Just chiming in to say good luck and have fun, great project you've got going!

    Now I'm interested in the 5D jig, being a G3 woodworker I have 9 routers at this point but have gotten by just fine with a 1/4" and 1/8" chisel. The AR platform is very forgiving ... don't tell Chad I said that lol.

    Again, Great stuff MPDC.
