    So I moved to the DC area from Western Maryland. I'm in Montgomery County, MD. I am looking for a competent gunsmith who can do a barrel swap for my AR and affix a new FSB/A frame, and is good and fast. I'm willing to travel up to 4 hours for someone who is good and fast.

    Any suggestions?

    triggerdoctor.com Walt has done work for me and was recommended by members here. He's also done work on a friends rifle after I recommended him. Great smith.

    I’ve had work done by both Walt frear and Tim hafer Walt is in Monrovia (close to 75/80) and Tim is located just west of 81 out in hagerstown.
