I've got an SKS that I have a tapco gas tube I am installing. Has anyone had any luck mounting a red-dot to this and still had accuracy? It has a rail, but I'm curious as to whether or not it can be stable enough. Opinions?

I had wondered if others had the same experience - I was skeptical to say the least. I have a side mount for a scope, I'll likely drill and tap it, and use that one.
    Thanks!

yea, the only reason I didn't want to drill and tap mine is because if you have a matching receiver, you kinda ruin it in a way IMO. but thats me, I know a lot of people online in forums saying that doing the drill and tap is the best mount you can ever get for a SKS.
