Does anyone know what diameter the gas hole in the front sight block is supposed to be? I field stripped one I rescued from bubba, and it looks like bubba drilled the hole over sized. I tried SKS boards, and wasn't able to find a definitive answer. I was thinking it was the metric equiv. of 1/8", but I was looking to confirm. Looks like I may be tapping in an allen head set screw and un-bubba'ing the gas block.

    Suggestions?

A number 30 (0.1285") drill bit should be right on the money. The diameter of the actual gas selector is that... the hole into the barrel seems slightly larger, but it is less than a number 28 drill bit (0.1405"), my number 29 is MIA. I checked this on my lightly used SKS.
