I strongly dislike yard sales, going to them, having them, either way.

I can no longer gripe about them. The other half got this for me today:

Savage 110 in 300 win mag

    Guess how much?

The bore is close to perfect - a nice gun. I guess I can never have too many deer guns around. Who knows I might look for a bear with a 300 win mag.

The stock was refinished, the sheen from the pick makes it look worse than it is, I actually don't mind it. What would you reccommend scoping it with? I. Thinking 4x12x50...it may make some long prarie shots to 300 meters. What is on yours, EMT?

I have an A1optics 4-16x50 with the rangefinding crosshair. Longest succesful shot i made with it so far was 420yds. As for the optics it was inexpensive ( $90..ebay special ) and compares to a bushnell elite 3200 that i have on my 300 ultra mag. Can never have to much power on a scope. And as i was always told, buy the best scope you can afford  Happy shooting...btw nice find !

I went looking at yard sales yesterday. Anything gun related, or for the garden, etc.

Just not stuff like I already have! Found nothing!

You found a great rifle! And congrats to your wife for knowing to buy it!

    How much?
