Well after months of trying I finally got an account approved. They all dissapeared within 24 hours. Any way been lurking on these boards for a few months. Joined here and MSI at that same time. I have always been a 2A supporter and alwayd planned to buy a few but never did till recently. I now have a Mossberg Mavrick 88 and got a 26 inch barrel for it, A smith and wesson 30-06 which apparantly wasnt made for very long and got my HQL and have a Sig Sauer P320 XCarry 9mm. Now I am on the hunt for a 1911. I have also been reloading my own ammo. I have the Lee Shotshell Reloader. I also got a Lee Breech lock single stage that I do my rifle rounds on and got a Lee Breech Lock Pro progressive press for my 9mm and eventually 45acp rounds. I have discovered my handgun is fun and I am pretty good with it. I really enjoy distance shooting with my rifle though. I cant find a range longer than 300 yards though and I am now able to reliably hit the bullseye at 300 yard using a Vortex Diamondback scope.

    Welcome !

If you already didn't know ,those rifles are Howa 1500 barelled actions , stocked by S&W . Not a slam , the Howa is a decent action ( and likewise , the Weatherby Vangard is Howa bbl action ).

Some people like the stocks on purpose , and some people like them to add to their S&W collections .

Interesting, I though I had read somewhere the the Barrel was a Thompson and the action was S&W. And that they bought Thompson shortly after and that was why it was short lived.

Eithier way its a nice gun shoots accurate. With Hot Handloads. I was consistently making 300yard shots with it with almost exactly 6 inches of bullet drop every time and always center mass. I am sure I will want something nicer soon enough but to get started I am not upset with the gun at all

Greetings from Montgomery County. The Sig P320 is a great firearm. Enjoy it and your time on MDS.

Yes I live the gun. As of last night it has over 10,000 rounds through it. Mostly hand loads most for accuracy and some for velocity.

My only concern is the striker mechanism. Recently there was another class action suit file for random fires. I am hoping they find this to be user error but we shall see. Till then I never carry it with one in the chamber which I am not happy about. I am now looking for a 1911 in 45acp to make my EDC. No I dont have a permit for MD I just spent %90 of my time and work in WV which does it right for gun rights with constitutional carry. They dont go on random screaming fits at my Trump hat eithier. No not the red one.
