Does anyone know of local shops or stores that might sell the 12 gauge mini shells? I can find them online but wow the shipping for hazmat is expensive...

Can't help you locally sir. But unless I've missed something, shot shells shouldn't incur a hazmat charge.
You'll likely have to poke around. For online, plenty of places charge $8 or so flat rate shipping on ammo. Expensive if you are ordering one box of ammo, not so bad if ordering a few boxes.

Ok thanks will have to search more, the 12 gauge mini shells seems to be hard to find .....

I got some from AmmoFreedom.com. Shipping was sort of high ($17 to ship 5 boxes of 20) but they were the only place that had the mini-shells in stock. No hazmat charge, though.

2nd that they are usually around some of the mid sized ammo dealers. Lots of fun (and more manageable in a coach gun for prolonged shooting) need to try them in my KSG.

Shells shoudnt be hazmat. They're ORM ( I think that's the term), but not hazmat.

Would one of those old Polish Flare Guns (w/the 12g insert) be able to handle these slugs? And/or would a persons arm/hand be able to handle these also?
Forgot about that, just found a couple boxes along with the rubber ball ones that I had added on to some long forgotten order.
