    The one big drawback on the earlier Beretta pistols is the front sight. It is not replaceable and is very small. The sights on older surplus guns are usually worse from being knocked around. Many years ago, Millet Sight company made a sight that could be installed over the existing front site and secured with set screws. Millet is no longer in the sight business and I haven't seen those sights in years.
