I posted a thread awhile back on a Ruger 45 ACP CMD. The intent was to do minimal work to it to make it acceptable. Mom always told me to leave well enough alone. Sorry, Mom, pistol didn't handle quite the way I want it to. Little too much muzzle flip.

Here are a couple pics. The first two are of the pistol as bought and a close up of the front strap and area under the trigger guard. The remainder are of the reconfiguring and glass beading. I will put a strip of skateboard tape on it. Later on I may give it a light duty stippling.

Yes I have. The grip configuration works. Muzzle flip is greatly reduced. I added some grip tape after shooting it since I don't care for the smooth front strap. I still haven't decided if I want to stipple it.

I used a Hogue grip with finger grooves that fits under the OEM grip panels that worked really well.
