A new issue of Outdoor Life showed up in my mail yesterday and they had a great C&R relevant article on old American SXS shotguns and some tips for finding and snatching them up from the pros. This is a segment of the C&R world that I'm starting to see a lot more people take an interest in as milsurp firearms are becoming harder and harder to find on the cheap. My old Riverside SxS was had for $80 at auction and has served me pretty darned well over the past couple of years. It's a true upland model with 26" barrels instead of the 30s you see on duck and goose guns, so it works for me at the trap range as well.
Anyway, I figured I'd scan and post the .pdf for our members here. It's a well written article even though a little short for my taste, and the selection of pictures show off some BEAUTIFUL works of art that just happen to double as firearms.
Enjoy!
