Yes I do... and yes I have... and yes I will... I have no problem open carrying and I don't worry about printing... however... I don't go into Baltimore for ANYTHING... anywhere else... no problem. This is what it looks like most of the time...

I always get a kick out of you Baltimore fear-mongers. Take a chill-pill. Many areas are actually very nice with equally nice residents. I avoid West and North East Baltimore just as I do SE and NE DC (NE is improving though).

I lived just below Patterson Park for 4 years without issue. Yes, there was occasional petty crime and the real occasional serious crime, but no more than any other densely populated area.

I do feel strongly that Balto City would be a better place with sensible concealed carry laws.

So, basically what you are saying is avoid West and NE Balt. That leaves SE balt (1/4 of the shitty) which is only average dangerous.

Yup, that's where I want to be.

Btw: I briefly lived downtown at Charles and Preston back in the 80s and also worked downtown in the 90s and had no problems at that time.

Patterson Park is dangerous , people are subject to more then petty crime . And really being robbed or beaten seems a bit more important if you are the one getting the arse whipping .

I think you would be singing a different tune if the "real occasional serious crime" happened to you. As for me, I'm staying out unless it's absolutely necessary. And I routinely home carry - better safe than sorry.

Not a fear-monger, as I am apparently being labeled... I live just outside of Lakeland, Cherry Hill, Brooklyn. Some of the finer(sarcasm) communities of South Baltimore. Been here 56 years and have seen these areas go from decent to bad to much worse. As a kid, I played in the park at the bottom of Cedley St. in Westport... at night... my relatives, pretty much, owned the whole bottom block. Today, I don't feel comfortable driving through there in the daylight. In my younger years, I worked night shift on Franklintown Rd in West Baltimore and Cloverland Dairy on North Monroe. I'm sure there are a lot of nice neighborhoods in the city... I have very little need to cross the city line. What's sad is that crime is having no problem crossing into my neighborhood from the city. The LOOT rail helped with that. In the city, your chances of being at the wrong place...at the wrong time increase exponentially. No thanks... you can keep it...
Conversely... I'm in NYC regularly, and not the good parts... folks who know me know how often I am there. I'm more comfortable there, unarmed(not that I would not rather be...), than I am in Baltimore City... armed.

So maybe you should try it IRL and report back when you get out?
I'm not a proponent of OC by any stretch. I prefer the stealth method. That does not negate the fact that former AG Gansler used the legal open carry of long guns as a defense against the need for handgun carry by anyone. That video was shot to emphasize the most likely outcome if you were to do so. So if you want real life, sitck to facts.

This is NOT surprising. I used to work in Baltimore (city) on average 1 day a week, it's a dump. :o

Maybe you should pay closer attention to what you're reading. "Like I said" is ********, since I clearly explained my position.

So did I. And I'm done arguing with you.

If you feel there is no merit to the concept of getting jacked up for open carrying a long arm, then feel free to prove your point by dong it and report back. You're more than entitled to your opinion as am I. But again, I'm done.

And I'm not going to OC in this socialist colony.

No! You challenged ME to go ahead and open carry then get back to you when I "get out", even though I at no time encouraged doing so. I also never implied that there is no merit to getting jacked up. I simply stated the fact that the video was staged to show what Smeigle thought the outcome of long gun OC would be despite what Gansler was arguing in court.

No arguing here, just facts, which you are unable to comprehend.
