    RANGE

This is my baby. I don't get to shoot it much since I'm not a member of a range that allows you to shoot it...

HAP BAKER is ok, and its only like $50 a year. Not the greatest but, as the bench's are uncomfortable ( pretty much suck :-) but they have pistol, rifle-25, 50,75, 100 and one 200yrd settings.

Thank You. Its a PTR-91. I think the retail is like 2800 for that one. It has the 20" fluted barrel. I got it with an Versa-pod 923 and a 3-9 accupoint for a great price. The accupoint is gone, bi pod is still with it.

yeah I personally have several of those - Bad Rifles all the way. Back 15 years ago my brother and I were out hunting crop damage on my Dad's farm. He was running this rifle. Prone in the weeds with a scope and mag loaded with 8 rounds. I see a herd of 6 deer running across the field to far away for me to get a clear shot. Then I hear my brother open up across the farm. He shot all 6 in about 5 seconds. Still had one in the chamber! Never did it again even though we had plenty of opportunities - dressing and cutting up 6 deer between us two was a chore I wasn't going to repeat.

BCM now. the pic is old. ;)

that said, re-read the post to which I was responding and you'll see why attempting to flame me for using a magpul grip is....misguided, we'll say, giving you the benefit of the doubt. i won't go full-on "****tard" just yet.

    It was a joke
    There was no flaming ;)

Just ordered a Sig 716 the other day, seeing all these custom jobs does not make me regret going stock, but just means I may need to do some upgrading eventually.

FWIW, I'm pretty sure Engage has one in stock now.

Can you use a standard AR-15 LPK in an AR-10 (clone) lower? Was always curious about that, before I get those lowers.

A few pins are different in LPK

After much research mine was built with this:

CMMG LPK for a .308 (Red Barn PN CMMG38CA61A-no grip or fire control)
    Standard ALG-ACT trigger
Buffer tube is a DPMS (Midway PN 599404)
DPMS Carbine Buffer (Midway PN 232006)
DPMS Buffer Spring (Midway PN 813595)
    DPMS Buffer Nut
    GG&G End Plate
    Hogue grip

    Wish list for upper:

    Black Rain 15" hand guard
    Rainier ultra match 20" barrel

Not exactly.. the bolt stop catch and catch pivot pin are different, as are the takedown and pivot pins... Most of the other parts work though... you can get an AR-15lpk and add the needed pins, bolt stop catch and it's pin and make it work tho.. ;)
