Kind of a toss up for me, Glock 34-will always go bang every time, or my M&P Pro 9 for accuracy. Either one, 5" barrel gives me a little more distance. Both 100 yard pistols with practice. Plus I can get 5 rounds in CQB, center mass quicker than any other larger caliber.

If it shoots, I'll take it.
I'd prefer what I carried or some variation of that on active duty:
    P-226/7/8/9
    S&W 686
    HK Mk 23.

I'd even take an M9 if there wasn't much to choose form.

Love the 686! But in a corner you need to come out with both guns blazing just like your avatar.
    :D
Well then, cornered that would be a 686 Distinguished Combat Magnum and a 66 Combat Magnum both blazing.

I just need to get a pipe and a big hat..

    Here's something to think about:

In this scenario, can YOU repair your sidearm of choice in the event that something breaks / wears out?

Probably not, but I can hit someone in the head with my broken gun pretty damn hard. :D
