Somehow or another I knew you would say that, you made a similar comment on another thread about me wanting a scope with a bit higher power and you didn't see the need for it though it suited my needs and it's what I wanted.
One day I'll become an expert marksman, have outstanding vision, be rock solid, and not want a higher power scope. I'll be able to shoot 1000 yards and hit a fly with iron sights.
My answer should have been (since I knew in the back of my head what you would say again) is "because I want it"
I know your just trying to help, but I always feel you knock people for wanting higher power scopes.
Only because I was exactly the same way until someone forced me to understand why it wasn't necessary and in most cases (especially hunting) was detrimental. I don't try to knock anyone, I only offer advice that I feel is helpful. Besides I won't get butt hurt if you don't take my advice. Have you considered a straight 6x scope? That's a good long range shotgun scope.
