    pricey but two days (though i wish sat and sun and not fri and sat), high round count, and out to 500yds.

    The NRA America's Rifle Match Championship, Presented by Daniel Defense is a two-day all rifle championship level, large prize table match. You'll shoot 8 stages (and two optional side matches) across PNTC's entire complex including PNTC's Frontier Ranges. Stages consist of high round count natural terrain and awesome bay stages w/ vehicles, moving targets etc. Target distances range from 3 - 500+ yards. Additional sponsors will be announced soon.

    America’s Rifle Match Championship Overview - The NRA America’s Rifle Match (ARM) Championship Presented by Daniel Defense is a championship level competition designed to develop and test defensive rifle skills with other modern general purpose semi-automatic rifles, such as the AR-15, at the highest level. Peacemaker staff will conduct this match. This match is intended for shooters who have experience in action-type rifle competitions, AND/OR ARE EXPERIENCED COMPETITORS WITH SAFE GUN HANDLING SKILLS!

    Match Prerequisites, Firearm Requirements, Round Count and Overall Gear Requirements: All competitors must be SAFE rifle shooters and have a higher level of experience than a novice. Shooters must use a semi-automatic, detachable magazine rifle, (calibers are limited from a .223 minimum to .30 cal. maximum). Other required items: Eye and hearing protection, chamber flag, sling, a minimum of 4 magazines, 500 rounds of ammunition. It is advisable to bring 600 rounds.

    Rifle Categories

    Iron Sights: A rifle in this category has only iron sights
    Optic Limited: A rifle in this category has no more than one non-magnifying optical sight. Iron sights may also be used with the non-magnifying optic.
    Optics Open: A rifle in this category has a maximum of two (2) optical sights; with a maximum of one being magnified. Examples would be: a magnified scope paired with a non-magnified red dot or iron sights. A rifle with a red dot that has a magnifier that can be “flipped” to the side meets the maximum requirements of two optics.

    NOTE: Prizes will be awarded by order of finish for the top 5 places for each division. All other prizes will be random selection! All prize awards are at the SOLE determination of the NRA and PNTC. All Determinations are FINAL.

    KEY SAFETY RULES FOR THIS MATCH

    In addition to safety rules required by the NRA, PNTC requires that all competitors:
    - PROPERLY COMPLETE REGISTRATION prior to the Safety Briefings. Onsite registration / check-in is MANDATORY and begins from 1PM-6PM Thursday June 9th and from 5AM - 6AM Friday June 10, 2016. PM Squads may complete check-in NO LATER THAN 12PM Friday June 10th 6:30PM 2016 at the Peacemaker National Training Center Headquarters Building. You will receive a mandatory specific match bracelet at that time! NOTE: USE ONLINE REGISTRATION TO SQUAD, IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE SQUADDING YOU MUST SEND AN EMAIL REQUEST TO: COLE McCULLOCH, MATCH DIRECTOR: cole@peacemakernational.com

    - AM Squads: It is MANDATORY that YOU COMPLETE CHECK IN and attend the NRA Safety briefing conducted on Friday June 10th at 6:15AM at the Peacemaker National Training Center Headquarters Building.

    - PM Squads: It is MANDATORY that YOU COMPLETE CHECK IN and attend the NRA Safety briefing conducted on Friday June 10th at 12:30PM at the Peacemaker National Training Center Headquarters Building.

    - FULLY COMPLETE PNTC Paper Waivers & NRA Paper WAIVERS

    - Upon arrival, keep rifles cased! Ensure actions are open, and chamber flags are inserted prior to arrival. If you do not have a chamber flag, PNTC has these for a small fee. YOU MUST ensure a chamber flag is inserted into the rifle's chamber prior to arriving at the range area.

    - DO NOT uncase firearms and/or handle firearms at your vehicle or off the firing line. You may take your cased firearm to a designated Safe Area and uncase. Please ensure your rifle is UNLOADED, magazine OUT, and chamber flag IN. NO AMMO IN ANY SAFE AREA!

    - Children under 10 years of age are not permitted to attend or spectate this event. If you are competing, DO NOT bring minors to the match and leave them unattended. Minors must be accompanied by a non-competing ADULT at all times.

    - NRA Range Rules Apply! No alcohol or drugs. Those persons who are intoxicated, convicted felons or any other person who is not permitted by law to use or operate firearms may not attend this or any other event at PNTC.

    - No steel core, tracer or armor piercing ammunition may be used. If a magnet sticks to your bullet it may NOT be used in this competition.

    - PNTC reserves the right to remove any person for unsafe, unsportsmanlike, unusual and/or inappropriate behavior at any time AT PNTC's SOLE DETERMINATION.

    Maybe. Would have to decided which AR: regular 3-gun, lightweight 3-gun, or DMR. DMR would cost more to shoot (6.8 SPC II) but more accurate at the 500y limit.

    Shot this match last year and had a great time. Wont be shooting this one. The $210 match fee is too high and will put that $$ toward some AR training instead.
