I am interested in building an AR-15 Pistol and utilyzing the Sig brace and maybe eventually a suppressor. What are my options for a lower receiver as far as MD laws/SB281 goes?

Unless you already have a pre Oct lower, not a whole lot.

Engage's AR pistol is on the roster though.

    To clarify,
If I have a pre Oct 1, 2013 stripped lower that has never been assembled into a rifle, I can build an Ar-15 pistol?

I'm sure it has been discussed before, but I'm guessing he would need still need to get an HQL before building it?

Sorry, but I haven't been following pistol builds...

No HQL required to build it.

Exactly. The HQL is only required for transfer.

At this point, if I wanted an AR pistol and didn't have a pre-Oct lower, I would be all about the Engage pistol. It's a really, really nice piece of equipment from a good company who have vigorously supported our rights here in MD.
