Hard to put a "going rate" on something that is not available.

The 550 value packs you used to be able to find in walmart will go for 60-70 a box on gunbroker...

It really depends where you go and if its in stock. Some retailers still sell them at normal prices when they get them in. If you buy ammo regularly you know whats fair and what you already paid for it. If you're just trying to cash in on the craze put it up at 20c a round, 40c, 60, or $1 a round and see who bites. You're a private seller, you ask what you want for it, the average shouldn't matter.

I found better buy-it now deals on gunbroker but thats just an example.

Will ammo prices return to pre-newton prices are shelves are replenished or will this turn out like oil and suddenly we've found our new standard.

Remember when $2.20 for gas was crazy? Right now .22lr is $.13-$.14 per round in most cases. If you can get it under $.10 its a steal.

I have gotten some CCI Standard Velocity recently at $33 and $35 for a 500 round brick.

I have enough now, so will not buy until things settle down a bit.
