I got the Gerber Strongarm out today. Forgot I had it to be honest. Strapped it to my new pack and it damn near blends in.
After I cleaned it up a bit... it's not perfect but I think it looks pretty good for a 110 year old piece of hardware lost in a cellar for over 40 years.
At first glance I didn't see it until I read your 'blends in' comment then took another look.
Diesel- great score with that bayonet/short sword. Is that a ww1 bayonet?

What rifle is this for?
From what I have found online. Yes. But if anyone knows any better please indulge me for I know very little of my find. Other than its pretty cool.
From a 1903 Springfield. The SA stands for Springfield Armory. Believe they were used on Gerrands later on as well. I have one that is much worse condition that was my Grandfathers.
Wow that still looks pretty cool tho... guess I need to find the rifles it fits to add to my collection now.. haha
Is this it? If so you scored!
Old bayonets are almost as cool as old guns

ETA; I quoted the wrong person, meant to quote Dieselfool
Damn right. Maybe it's just me, but that ordinance bomb marking is cool as hell.
