    How about a Broomhandle Mauser?

    It sure has style.

True "Assault Frying Pans" are made out of cast iron, ask my late grandmother (although that could be difficult) - she wouldn't hesitate to take a 8" or 10" cast-iron pan upside someones head if the situation called for it.

I know it worked, my grandfather was a mean drunk (never met the man, but that's what I've been told) - the 1 time he tried to lay hands on her, he caught a "Assault Pan" upside his head..., he never tried that stunt again.

Smith and Wesson Shield 9mm. My wife has the .40 version and she loves it. I've shot it as well and I'm impressed with it too.

Have you shot this alongside the Kahr? How did they compare? I'm trying to decide between the two.

I've shot a Kahr PM9 and loved the trigger, way better than the Kel-Tech and Ruger. But haven't handled the S&W Shield at all, although they sure do look sexy :D

I bought a compact for my wife a PT-111, one night I let her shoot the Full size ruger SR9 and now she wants one. She did like the feel of the PT-111 but she like how the SR9 handled. I may let her shoot the beretta with a full 20 round mag and see if she can hold it up long enough to empty the mag and actually hit the target.

Well, I took your advice and took her to the LGS. She ended up with a Taurus Slim. Nice little cheap gun. I think people either love or hate Taurus but it appears to be a decent gun.

I own a Kahr CW.40 and a CW9 for the wife. They are fantastic only downfall would be that your wife would need to protect whatever need protecting with only 7 rounds. Mine is my back up but its a nice piece
