    .410, Remington I believe.
I was only 10, but getting to go out the next day in an empty feild and shoot trap with my dad and his buddy is one of my fondest memories. He still has it buried away somewhere. Maybe I'll see if I can get it back.

My first was an old Daisy "red ryder" type bb gun my grandfather gave me when I was 8.
Then 10 years later I got my first rifle as soon as I turned 18 at Wal Mart, a stainless Ruger 10/22 "international edition" on sale for $125.

A 410 shotgun, bolt action with a removeable magazine. I was 12 years old in the 6th grade. My Father took me and my brother bird hunting. The first gun I bought was a 4 5/8" barrel Ruger Blackhawk in .357 Magnum.

Congrats on the purchase! Enjoy the Glock.
My first handgun was a SW K-38 Target Masterpiece, bought it used over 30 years ago
at the old Torpedo Factory in Old Town Alex., I think it was Potomac Arms.

Beautiful blue finish with a trigger that rivals a python! I still have it today and it still shoots better than I do.

The first gun I bought myself was a Ruger P90 when I was 21. Still have it and don't ever plan on getting rid of it. The thing is built like a tank.

I owned hand-me-down shotguns and rifles when I was younger.

Today is a great day, It's the day that I brought home my first Glock, in fact my first hand gun in the US. What was your first gun you brought home?

As a kid, I had several, but they were mainly my Grandfather's I got to use as my own, but when it came time to buy my own on getting back into shooting, I went with a S&W M&P .40 (would have gone with the .45 but it was just not quite right at that point).

    Followed shortly by a GP100 6"

And the rest, as they say, is classified.
