So I finally made the jump into the NFA world! I efiled a Form1 and was approved in 28 days, then went about constructing my .30 cal suppressor. I used a titanium tube and end caps along with stainless cups. For mounting I went with a griffin minimalist brake due to its short protrusion into the can. Just 12 standard 60 degree cones double clipped. I’m not gonna lie it was a little louder than I expected but after research it appears it’s right on par with commercial cans for a 8.5” .300 blk pistol.

Looks good, man. Welcome to the club! Do you have any videos you can post of what it sounds like?

    Few other questions though --
    1) What size can is that? 9" ?
    2) What ammo were you using?
    3) How big is that blast chamber? Or length from muzzle device to first cone?
    4) What bore diameter did you use?

Congratulations. Shooting with cans is so civilized. Even the Antis should encourage it to reduce noise pollution, but they seem to cling to the concept of "Hollywood quiet".

Now that we all have more time, maybe it's time to start building. Can those with experience share their preferred sources of components? Thanks in advance.

    you made that suppressor?

that looks exactly like the ones FREEDOM ARMORY sells that they make in house in PA. They also use titanium.
