I got a call too, as well an e-mail.
Not in my experience. Are you using a card with a billing address in one state and shipping to another?
I did and now that you mention it that's probably the reason why. Although I have ordered from other websites and did the same thing, but never recieved a call or email to confirm. Its probably a good thing then since Brownells was checking to see that it was infact I that ordered the items.
