There's a difference between being a "hunter" and "one who hunts."

I play golf but no longer play frequently or consistently enough to call myself a golfer.

    15% are illegal aliens
5% were in jail sometime this year
    ect

As the OP stated, I figured this would be higher. Like 75%...

I also noticed there's no Men in your world. :D

Is it true that just 6% of Americans call themselfs hunters? I figure that number should be higher then that.

I think you are unaware of the population density of the cities and close suburbs. The super high density is the reason Democrats rule those areas

I think there are many like me. I used to be a hunter. I am no longer a hunter. I have not been hunting in the last 20 years. Due to the time pressures of life, I simply do not have the time to dedicate to hunting.

If I look at myself, and take my family, extended family, friends, and people I interact with more than once a year, into account. There are only two of us that hunt or have hunted regularly. So I can see it being a small number. Other states maybe higher but, the densely populated areas will decrease the % quickly.

don't forget hippie PETA vegans they decrease the numbers significantly...lol But yeah only a few of my friends hunt...most people either don't like the wild game, don't have the time, or don't have the place to hunt...or are just plain too lazy to hunt...they'd rather go to the store and get their meat there and post on facebook or that how horrible a person is to kill something for themselves..;) not necessarily my friends or family but just saying..
