It almost doesn't matter what they. They'll never print the regulations for WMA's anywhere so that anyone can understand them. They've proven since the day bought a website and a printing company.

I'll tell you what they should do. Do what we did in the Navy in South Carolina on the Naval Weapons Station.

Set up permanent and maintained tree stands.

The stands are placed along a main road 200 yards apart in a line and set 200 yards back from the road in the woods. Reflective tape in strung up on the tree branches so you can find your way in and out of the woods.

We would all meet up, jump into a duce and a half and each man would get dropped off along the way at a stand site. Easy as pie and a lot of deer were taken too.

Same thing could be done here. Just have a parking spot dedicated to each stand. This is, of course, if they really gave two $hits about it and wanted to put in the money and man power.

    That's my .025

And open Loch Raven, Pretty Boy, and Liberty up to shotguns for people with serious hunting and shooting skills.

Hold REAL shooting qualifications, use the DNR data base to verify a hunters success rate and be done with it.

    That's the problem right there.

There's so much public land down here in Southern Maryland and only about 3 guys ever use it during Muzzleloader and Firearms season. No one hunts it because no one can understand the unwritten and extremely vague rules and regulations of each different parcel.

To ask DNR the details about these properties is like talking to a biscuit. They keep sending you to someone else because they don't know themselves. It's ridiculous and very sad.
