Surprised a 50M zero wasn't used rather than the 200M. I guess it's similar enough (if not reversed). Seems a little unrealistic to dial in your EOtech at 200M, when you could do it at 50M. Well, at least for me - given my vision and range limitations.

Very good way to represent the information though. Thanks.

Dang it.. tried to print these out to put on the gun room wall over the work bench... wont copy... oh well, will wait until Monday and use work printers (better quality)

I prefer this explanation with a simple 2 MOA red dot. You can also range with a red dot and some experience.

This really makes the ACOG seem lik the best optic for longer range shooting.

Well for one thing a 50m zero and a 200m zero if they are the same height point in the bullet trajectory (as an example) I find that if I sight in at 50m while the hit point is the same at 200m the group will have a lot more spread that if I sight in at 200m because a correction at 50m might be small but it becomes a lot bigger error at 200m. If I sight in carefully at 200m the group will be very tight at 50m but not the other way around.
