I've been happy enough with Burch, but you should really shop around. Seems like prices are all over the map, even within the same company.

I don't use propane but you should look into buying your own tank vs. using one from your supplier.

This gives you the ability to shop for the best price but you need to stay on top of how much fuel you have so you have plenty of time to order so you aren't left with an empty tank.
I have a 500 gallon above ground tank from Suburban propane and have never run out of gas in 23 years.
I am in Prince Frederick but the same office covers your area.

One idea would be to group your neighbors together and offer X amount of new customers to a company, We use Annapolis Propane and they call and tell us when prices are lower, they have never raised our rates, only lowered. Not sure about Leonardtown service.

What are you paying per gallon for propane? I have two smaller tanks that are used for a gas fireplace. I take them to the local Ace hardware for fills. Fuel was $2.28 a gallon but has increased to $2.70. I am on the fence on buying a larger tank and having it filled at the house. Many friends are now using SJ Johnson service in Calvert, they have told me of very good service and price.

I was floored by the price and speed of new service account and everything that Taylor did for me.
New service set up with full tank was 1/3rd price of Burch

Cheaper for me to use them and re-fill their 100 lb tank then for me to own and tank mine to get filled

I use suburban propane. I rent there tank and I am stuck in a contract with them. If I had know first off, I would have bought my own tank. You then can shop around for the best prices.

So what are you folks paying?
Does each company have a companywide price structure or do sales guys get involved and try to tack on when your not paying attention?
Moving into a resale in June and they have a buried 1000 gal propane tank.
