    Bingo ...

Had a lot of dialogue with Fairfax PD Lt. Becker (very professional), Capt. Paulson (?) (a my way or the highway with a smile type), and
County Executive Riley (???) (very cordial but willing to trample the Constitution to give the children an exclusive safe space to trash the NRA)

    Lawyers Mall 2.0 ...

As I alluded too in an earlier post, Riley Bryan Hill must have given the order. FCPD owes their allegiance (and their paychecks) to the County Exec.

He doesn't look anything like THIS guy, but I'm betting his orders were the same.

Sounds like grounds for a lawsuit for illegal arrest...

Im down in Tennessee, the land of the free, right now. Again guys, thank you for standing up for what is right. God bless, stay safe.

Video of the arrest and the double standard in action.

No privilege when it comes to being an older white male, it seems.

My 6-yr old (who refuses to sleep if big brother is still up on Saturday night) wanted to see what I was watching on my phone, but I won't let him. And it's not just because of language. How do I say that I know this guy at the beginning being pulled away by the law enforcement on site yet reinforce (as we do) that the LE are good guys (while their bosses might be playing politics)? Too confusing and otherwise he will assume that the guy being pulled away is a bad guy, and that is clearly not the case either.

Any sympathetic reporter on the scene been shared this footage?

Does the WaPo count? They probably had the best coverage just because coincidentally they were interviewing some of our folks at the time.

The FCPD "DMZ" was counter-productive in a major way.

Prior to the 12noon double barricade, we engaged a number of the protesters, and in many cases had very positive interactions. This was one of the main reasons for our presence.

After our 1A rights were put on hold "for our protection" It became much more of an Us vs Them dynamic. The only way to communicate was by shouting across a 30 foot gap. Shouting is not at all conducive to meaningful discussion; in fact, it works strongly against dialogue. Shouting does not make for conversation.

Rack's solution to the insoluble problem set up by the FCPD was to get arrested. If the powers on the scene were prevented from permitting mutual access and discussion, perhaps the courts might weigh in on a constitutionally correct method of dealing with public protest. Rather a shame, as there was some hope of educating and informing the less rigid members of the anti-everything group.

In honor of the event, I had a friend make me a tee shirt this evening.

"I'm not arguing, I'm trying to explain why I'm right."

    What Bob said .

During the pre- main event mingle period everything was calm , and mutual interactions were had . Mere minutes after scooting back across the dmz , the other side lined the barricades and began yelling at us .

Over the din , it was impossible to hear any of the other side's speeches or other presentations . I am sure they would have wished their messages to have been heard by both us and the general public .

While we would undoubtedly disagree with much of their message , actually hearing would at best give us conversational points to open dialogues with them , or at least give insight to their future plans .

I just don't get it. On one side we have the civilized law abiding folks, and on the other you have a bunch of squawking leftists who wouldn't piss on cops if they were on fire. Who do the cops choose to arrest? Makes no sense to me. SMH...

because its easier to arrest someone that cooperates with the arrest than dozens of people who would start a riot if one of their own were arrested.

The cops didn't choose their political hack bosses no doubt were calling the play.:sad20:

Otherwise the three from the other side would have been arrested also. When the same activity gets different results someone is playing favorites.

And the cops aren't capable of playing favorites?

Frankly, both the political hacks AND the police, when this type of hyprocrisy goes down, damage the perception of law and order.

The police could have easily applied the law EQUALLY.

As it stands now, FCPD are becoming no better than Keystone Cops.

    AA county
    Time for another lawsuit.

I think R&R suffered some PTSD from this incident as well as others watching.

You have to remember that FF County is a liberal demorat county that is so far left ,almost as bad at the MGA IMHO, that i am not surprised the local pd arrested Rack. When they escorted the other side back to their lines they were showing their true colors and not upholding their oath of office.Of course when Rack goes to court, their will be a far left liberal judge on the bench because they went judge shopping so the liberal left could get their way even in court.
