Southern Maryland AK Build Party - November 5th

How many people could do this date if I hosted another build party on Saturday November 5th? With Veteran's Day being on a Friday, I may entertain Saturday November 12th if that works for more people.

I've covered it before in other posts... No new flats are to be formed unless you are building an AK pistol and the rear trunnion is riveted to the receiver before leaving or you have an approved Form 1 for a SBR or AOW. Anything built must abide by FSA'13 laws.

People who need help with any repairs or modifications (fixing canted sights, feed issues, switching trunions to accommodate different stocks) to an already built AK are welcome to attend.

I'll have my blast cabinet and parkerizing tanks running if you wish to refinish a previous build.

I applied for leave I hope to attend I have a M92 SBR I have needed to put a stock on for a year. If you are looking for a nice kit and have a receiver for it. Apex has original barreled PAP kits

Can you guys help me switch a underfolder trunnion to one that will accept the magpul ak stock? I have a folder on it now, I drilled and tapped it but would prefer the magpul style plus I've got 2 big holes in receiver where the underfolder attached.

With only 3 techs in a 11-bay shop, it's hard to get a weekend day off - but if it's set for the 5th or 12th, then that's enough time to put in for that day(s) off.

**Mine's very near completion, so if anything I'd only be around to try and keep the masked one on task.

It can be done. Maybe someone will bring a TIG welder and we may be able to fill those under folder holes for you... It all depends if a TIG welder is available.

Whatever you want to build as long as it's MD FSA'13 compliant. I'm sure we can get you started.
