Used up the last of my 40 year old Sierra 90g bullets (all 20 of them) for 380. Original cost $5.50 for box of 100.
Now I have 3 boxes of my 40 year reloads and 1 new box with the old bullets to blast away with my 40 year old PPK/S (made in West Germany).

The only pistol brass I have trimmed are 38/357 and 45 Colt. It was just to get consistent lengths for the crimp and don't expect to trim it again.

I stroked out maybe 50 9mm. Plenty of powder, plenty of primers BUT only 300 or so 115 gr pills for it. Ain't gonna last me 4 years. :sad20: "Might" have enough 22.

Plus side more 06, 7.62x39 and 44 Mag loaded and components that I will ever shoot.

Loaded the last .224 62gr federal fusion pull down from my stash. Bought 10k of these about 6 years ago for 9cents a piece. Would love to find another deal like that

I installed a computer monitor and mount which I hooked up to an older laptop that I had so that I can search for helpful hints and load data while still sitting at my bench instead of needing to go up to my office to do that. I also cranked out about 250 rounds of 556

I have an old laptop in the loading area that I keep just for that purpose.

It also has a spreadsheet that I keep my person load data on. And all my digital copies of loading manuals.

Well... I finally managed to bend the .223 swager rod on my 30 year old RCBS Primer Pocker Swager. :mad54: I got 110 rounds out of a gallon sized ziplock bag bag of cleaned and deprimed 5.56 before a single piece of SS cleaning media screwed me. First time I’ve had that problem.

Some people say the RCBS Swager is a POS :sad20: but it has handled many thousands of rounds of 5.55, 7.62, and .30-06 brass over the last 30 years.

I just discovered the large swaging for was bent in my RCBS decrimping set, and yes a Rockchucker was used. It was my fault for not adjusting it correctly.
I prefer the RCBS set to the Dillon decrimper.

Finished Up Loading My Spare Brass

Done with the brass for now all gone but not forgotten at least it is reusable.

The boxed 50 cal sells for 65 bucks and it costs me less than a 1.50 including the brass to reload.

The boxed 45/70 runs around 36 bucks a box and costs me less than 1.25 to including brass to reload. Same as the 30/30 rounds

Loaded my last 50 rounds of 45/70
Loaded my last 100 rounds of 30/30
Loaded my last 50 rounds of 50 Cal S&W

Loaded up all my SPP 45 cases today. 230 grains of freedom a piece.

Going to try to work up a load for some 230gr XTP later this week or the next.

I also sorted through my bucket of range of brass I’ve been collecting. Pretty much all of the pickups I’ve shot and a bit of “oh that’s interesting” I found laying on the range while picking up my own brass.

All the stuff I didn’t bother sorting out ages ago because I wasn’t reloading that cartridge (wasn’t going to reload 9mm and 223 until this crap happened. Now I can do it for 1/3rd the cost or less of commercial Ammo). I have a fair amount more already sorted out, this was just the “grab all my brass and throw it in a bag and then the bucket when I got home” stuff.

By weight or counter a few

    ~640 .223/5.56 cases
    ~260 9mm cases
    18 .308/7.62x51 cases
    8 .45acp cases
    A 30 carbine and 38spc case
A pair of 7.65 browning cases
    A .30-06

Stuff I picked that I’ll keep because I might own something in it some day
    13 44 mag cases
    11 10mm cases
    A couple 6.5 creedmor
    A couple 8mm Mauser

Left is about 3# of 22lr, damaged or too corroded brass and some calibers that just aren’t worth it for me to keep because I’ll probably never reload it (a dozen or so 380 auto sorted out of the 9mm). That’ll go to the recyclers eventually.

I do need more 45acp brass for reloading at some point. I probably only have 300-400 LPP brass and around 80-90 SPP pieces. I guess I need to shoot another box or two of commercial 45 next time I get to the range.

Started by emptying a bag of range pickup into a box of sorted 9mm. So will have to sort those again.

Then put the spring that atblis loaned me into the 650, till Dillon and the USPS can get me the new ones I ordered.

Did a solid Hour and a half of loading and checking throw weights as the last of the tightgroup goes through the hopper. So that was 600 rounds and I might have 400 more till the tightgroup is gone and then replaced with Sport Pistol..

Thanks atblis, I was down to 1300 rounds and having cold sweats at night about not having enough to shoot through the holidays and then be light for the next Falling Steel match...
