I bought an old model 66 Taurus "as is". I also both a bag o'guns with Taurus 65 parts (less frame). I have the gun all together EXCEPT the hand does not fit properly. The long pin on the lower part of the hand fits into the trigger fine. The short pin should attach to a spring connected to the trigger, but I do not see it. I have been looking for an assembly drawing schematic for this model but have not been able to find one. All the assembly drawings I have found are for the newer model 65/66 revolvers. This one is probably from the 1980's. The side plate has three screw and a cutout on the top for a fourth screw. The new models are attached only with three screws.

I am sure something is missing, but without the assembly drawing I cannot visualize it, without totally tearing the gun down. I know my bag o'guns has the part if I knew what I was looking for.
