Just spoke with an officer at the Firearms Registration Section in DC and he said they are waiting to hear from the Att Gen about how to proceed. Not sure if they will go constitutional carry until they get another possible injunction.

What a crying shame it would be if DC goes shall issue, albeit kicking and screaming through the courts like Illinois, before the "Free State".
I will be watching. I would like to know how this plays with my previously denied application.. and re-denied by DC's BS version of HPRB.

Unlike the last injunction in a different case this simply throws out the "good cause" requirement temporarily and does not appear to allow for Constitutional carry.
Fixed. That would not surprise me at all. MD politics, like that of DC, resembles Chicago and New York City more than America at large.
Oh, this is a fun one to read for my non-lawyerly backside...he smacks DC around pretty well throughout.
The tide is turning everywhere.... with one notable exception.

If you had applied and were denied, I suggest you contact a knowledgeable DC attorney familiar with DC firearms law, such as George Lyon, Jr.
If it were me, I would FedEx or UPS (next day) a copy of my complete previous application to Chief Lanier, and include a signed letter requesting a permit be issued immediately.
