This may be a dumb question but it needs to be asked: is my recurve bow ok to use in the summer? Not talking about leaving it in a truck all day, but in an open boat or just practice in the yard with 90 degree heat and high humidity like a normal July day. It's a PSE Impala, glass over wood. I figured it would be fine, but I was talking with someone earlier and they said it was no good to shoot bows when it is hot. Any other opinions out there?

Wooden bows like the same conditions we humans and sasquatches like: moderate temperature and humidity levels. Don't leave them in direct sunlight or in the trunk of a hot car.

I have a few vintage Bear, Scorpion and AMF bows I shoot in the summer heat. Never had a problem with delamination, etc.

As stated, if you can handle it, so can your bow.. lol

Avoid storing in hot environments, but shooting in the heat is an normal thing for a bow, just not some archers... :lol2: :lol2:
