Looks like Hogan is finally acknowledging some of the crap bills the MGA rushed through on his Facebook page by quoting the Capitol gazette (no mention of gun bills). Check this thread to catch up on the bills they slid through:
    https://www.mdshooters.com/showthread.php?t=243119

We should pull the thread and insist he veto these gun bills - contact him directly with the below info, and/or comment/like the discussions on his Facebook post below. As PowPow says below, be concise, focus in on a specific bill per point of contact.

    Email sent

I sent him a message a few days ago, but I'll also be calling tomorrow!

Don't let up on him. He may be a lame duck, but he still has other ambitions. Thanks for sounding the trumpet Nickberg!

Thanks guys. I think his attention's finally turning its way towards the bills - and if enough of us keep the pressure on him, he might veto the bills, and it might get enough coverage/attention that the 'crats let off on some of them instead of overriding him.

I recommend that you edit the OP and add this thread as a link for guidance. I also recommend limiting your voice or e-mails to one bill per contact.

I wrote him a personal letter and mailed it out yesterday. I don't know if he'll ever read it and/or agree with it, but I figure it's better than a dime-a-dozen email or phone call that may go ignored. It's my last bit of business for this session, we just have to hope for Hogan to make the call.

Making them override something that was passed when the people were prohibited from being in the buildings and on the sidewalks in groups of more than X persons will make them completely own it. They may be fine with that. But, that's all we got in these days of the super majority machine.

Thanks to Nick for your advocacy and for starting this thread (we HAVE to get together soon again for sumbeers) and everyone else here for fighting the good fight. It's still important. We have outstanding advocates and scholars on our side, and I am humbled when I watch and listen to everyone in Annapolis. Lobbying Hizzonor and our state Delegates and Senators thru testimony, personal contact, phone calls, emails, and social media, sometimes seems like a waste of time and energy because it seems that they'll do what they're gonna do. But at the end of the day I think it makes a difference, even if it is small in the big picture. The fact that every year some of their bills don't go all the way thru, and that they had to resort to stealth tactics to pass what they did this year, is testament to this. Keep holding Hizzonor's feet to the fire.

Thanks very much. I can assure you and everyone, that the effort is not wasted. For example, compare the House version of HB 4 to the Senate version that ultimately passed. Loans are gone. That is a direct result of advocacy. We couldn't stop it completely, but we sure did change it. And that is just one bill. None of the rest of the bad bills passed. That's no accident.

I told that stupid son of a bitch to veto all gun control bills the last time I was in naptown. I don't think he'll abide.

When the Stetson gestapo show up at your abode cough and hack really hard.

Lawn chair is (falsely IMO) counting on the D vote to propel him after the current gig expires. At the cost of alienating the R vote that was also necessary to get him in and keep him in.
