help identify this shotgun

    A friends uncle has the gun and we are trying to identify it.

    Hmm never seen that before. Have you removed the stock and looked inside of the action? Might be something in there.

    Either way with Damascus barrels it is unsafe to fire that shotgun, or so I've read.

    found a website for damascus barrels have figured it out but not the manufacture. it was made in 1938 it is 12ga 2 3/4 some of the marks indicate it is acceptable for smokeless powder and nitro after 1901 (whatever that means) i think it is going to be a conversation piece anyway.thanks for the help
