It would be to see what is happening in the backyard. I was wondering if I could angle it downward from the 2nd floor deck to see what is happening near the house.
Sensitivity will vary. I borrowed a buddy’s Bushnell game camera and I have some off brand. His triggered on low sensitivity in EVERYTHING. I’ve got at least 20 pictures a day of squirrels and 3-5 of just changing light on the scene. 2-8 of deer, fox, possums, raccoons or coyotes.
My other camera on high has zero pictures of squirrels and just as many of deer and other animals.
Both are sensitive on fox up to deer sized out to about 30yds.
Some will let you do field scan as well, a photo every XX so it can capture pics even if nothing triggered it. I am thinking about getting a nest outdoor cam to watch the backyard after seeing what the doorbell does. An outlet and within wifi range i think is all that is needed.
