I was looking for something a little more practical for work carry and I came across this 686+. Seven rounds of .357, stout frame and a 2.5 inch barrel do just fine.

I like it! Wish I could carry.

I'm fortunate in that I live in North Carolina now. Originally from MD, but down here for the last 10 years.

I was reading your thread about 586/686 accuracy. I traded a six inch barreled 586 for this one. The 586/686 range is about the best there is when it comes to a .357 magnum revolver. I would rather shoot any 586 or 686 than a Colt Python any day.

    Nice revolver OP.

Often thought about selling my S&W
M65-5 3” bbl, and getting the 686 plus, but with an 3” bbl.
Don’t know if it is worth it to me to gain more weight from the heavier frame and one extra shot though.
