NRA sits on the corner pounding it's pud.

Has been for the last 30-40 yrs at least. Was somewhat young when Reagan was shot but wouldn't be surprised if the NRA was "involved" in the crafting of the Brady act or law, you know a seat at the table thing and all.

Is this the line for getting bent out of shape without knowing the details...? Oh, yes... yes it is.

I see no reason why they can't go out and buy more guns, I mean, they weren't arrested. Just said guns were confiscated, right?

They weren't impotent in this matter, they took their guns. Isn't it kind of funny how the police there, follow the unconstitutional orders of the same people who want to defund them? I'm not bashing the LEO's, I'm just making an observation.

    My thoughts as well.

    For now.

You only get search warrants based on probable cause that a crime has been committed. In this case the alleged ******** of exhibiting a weapon which is somehow a felony.

They’re going to be under indictment soon, I’m certain of it.

We'll likely never know all the details, but I wonder if part of the so called 'threatening' might have been verbal, directed towards the trespassers. Something that encompasses the totality of the circumstances. I think the couple had and has the right to say any damn thing they want to the trespassers, but I can also see that if they threatened to 'kill' anybody who approached them, that might have bumped the charge up a bit. Sad that it's even a consideration.

And what if the homeowners had been carrying yard implements, like a machete or an axe? Would those have been confiscated as well?

Her waving around the pistol is likely the basis for the taking of their firearms. Should have kept it pointed down. I've read the AG is a foaming at the mouth progressive so I assume this is about intimidating the rest of the community: "Leave our brownshirts alone, their rioting is sanctioned."

    Thanks.

Is it a crime to have your guns out on your property there? Kind of crazy if so.

Ya that’s crazy if it is, even in Maryland you can carry a weapon on your own property. But regardless of what they said they shouldn’t be punished for defending themselves, it’s not like they went to their neighborhood and started pointing guns at the BLM protesters.

I think the analogy of the brown shirts is really quite fitting.

The fact that they only took the two weapons used in the "incident" seems reasonable. If that is all they have then shame on them. I actually think it's funny when people in the top 10% living in gated communities finally feel the need to exercise 2A Rights. The BLM crowd in front of their Mansion was probably the first minorities other than landscapers they ever saw on their street. The way they went out like amateurs waving guns is almost comical. You would think as attorneys they would know better.

I was always told, don't put your finger on the trigger till you were ready to pull it. When a group of thugs smash in your gate, threaten to burn your house down and kill you, she was probably ready to pull it.

Wow... that's a pretty broad assumption on your part. Based on what? They are rich and white??

If anyone finds themselves in a defensive situation where they fear harm and choose to pull their weapon, make sure you know what you're pointing it at, be aware of your surroundings, have a firm purchase on your gun and plant your feet if possible. Exactly the opposite of the woman in the photo.

Missouri Law - Exhibiting weapons is a Class E Felony, except in cases of self defense

No, only because they are Rich to extreme and got their wealth from both being Personal Injury Lawyers.

Here are pix of their Home. I'm sure they could afford security instead of brandishing guns of the passing Mob.
