I needed to update my Quikclot too and found these on ebay.. Great deal, for the entire kit! Basically everything you need for a little more than the price of a tourniquet. And I've been told that the Celox rapid is a very good product. I picked up 6 of them...

Got a mini-EMT bag. Cut myself the other day by accident and was shocked how expired my first aid stuff was. So I figured it was time to get a better kit.

Ordered about 2 dozen bush's baked bean 22oz cans from Walmart the price wasn't bad and they will get eaten.

Never hurts to buy modestly when items are available and at decent prices.

I bought 5 chickens when all this started. They`re 8 weeks old now. Just finished the coop today. Next purchase will be a shot shell reloader. I am contemplating purchasing some grow lights, but I haven`t done enough research. I was thinking about growing spinach indoors.

Regular florescent tubes will work just as well and cheaper than grow lights. Suspend your fixture on chains an inch above your plants and adjust as they grow.

I have been thinking about setting up some old aquarium lights I have as an indoor grow set-up. Just to keep growing basic greens. My outdoor garden is doing better than it has in the past but would like some insurance. If things keep going well I can always rotate them outdoors and sow more.

Haha. Maybe some day the federal law will change, but for now just spinach. Even if the law changed, I feel like I would have a lot of explaining to do to my kids. My son made a comment the other day that he thinks cigarettes and alcohol should be banned. I told him if he ever ran for president, I would never vote for him. :sad20:

I'll look into the flourescent lights. I know grow lights are expensive to purchase and run.

If you have an HSA or FSA account, the CARES Act removed the requirement to have a prescription in order to use it to purchase first aid supplies. I’m going through my medical supplies and purchasing replacements for anything expired/expiring and augmenting with new and better stuff. I may even get another STOMP kit and an AED.

I wish they would’ve removed the clause about first aid training classes being non-eligible expenses. I could always use more of those.
This is really good to know. Thanks for the info.

A friend gifted me with some canned chicken and canned venison. I think there may be a pressure cooker in my future...
