This is for instructors. When teaching your students, which condition/method do you teach your customers?

    Single action: cocked/locked
    DA/SA: de-cocked
    Striker: ready to rock

Use a quality holster, and get training.
    Loaded chambers all around.

+1 ...... I stress the importance of a good belt and dressing to conceal, don't have to look sloppy but fitted. Some people don't have the size to carry a full size iwb like I do.

Always have your firearm ready to engage if needing it. You will not be thinking about racking the slide and chambering a round when the need for that firearm arises. Training and practice are essential to carrying a firearm.

I had a student ask me, well what if the firearm goes off if I carry it with a round in the chamber. I asked him if it was in the holster properly will it just go off all by itself.

If it's being carried it has one in the chamber.

1911 et al, Condition 1. All others round in the chamber ready to shoot.

My wife was taught that any gun I carried or have ready in the house, she could just pull the trigger and it would go bang.

Yep. Looks like everyone aced this little pop-quiz.

No, I'm still waiting to see which instructor say that they teach "Condition 0".

Don't think too many judges or juries are going to accept the "This is my Safety, Sir!" as you hold up your trigger finger as a defense in a civil liability trial.

I teach federal LE and it's always a round in the chamber with no safeties, unless they are running something in SA like a 1911. If I was teaching a civilian I'd probably do the same. If things break bad people aren't going to have the time or situational awareness to rack the slide.

How else would you carry a Glock?
