This might not work. But, it is available and cheap.

Fauxland Special complete! Now I just need a holster.

Titan Concealment makes the best Poly80 holsters I've tried. They custom fit them to whatever light / laser setup you might have, and they'll cut the end open for compensators too. I have 3, they're all my favorite holsters.

Threw a mag of 115 old crap ammo through the new build and it was a jam o matic. Switched to 124+P ran like a top then dropped another mag of 115 crap ammo and ran fine.

Literally only took 15 rounds of the good stuff but man initially it hated that 115

    5th Build
    Coyote ready mod all OEM
    Used 1st build Vickers slide
1st build got some more upgrades

I decided to time myself on this one :48 to functioning with slide already assembled
Beveled the rear edges of the locking block and threw it in the freezer
Used snips to get the bulk of plastic off then a razor blade to finish
Used dremel to cut the recoil spring area out
All went together without any issues

Going to do my own stippling on this one, practicing on the one that got cut in half first

Pretty much the same experience I’ve had with my build but took 3- mags of the +p ammo to smooth things out.

I would like to hear more about how you did the beveling, because I think my PF940v2 has a slightly-too-large locking block which is causing malfunctions on the OEM slide.

Had the same issue. Quick hit with the dremel just enough to see an edge and i was good to go. File should be fine too. You just need enough to get it to bite then rubber mallet it in place

I have found they all have been different, 4 builds with 1 failed attempt, that 1 both the front and rear of the locking block were too thick. I thought that it was the lower but after cracking the 1st, the replacement had the same effect.

I ended up getting it started but thought that I would end up cracking the 2nd one, so I pulled and shaved down a considerable amount on both front and rear, making both to have no edging.

The very 1st was stubborn also and if memory serves me correct, I just took the edge off and hammer away.

The fourth just the rear of the block was too wide, and only shaved the edge off, then went in with no hammering necessary.

All of the compacts I’ve down had no issues what so ever, all went in with no modications and by hand only.

I should have taken pics but ya know got wrapped up in it going together so smoothly. Basically I just rounded out the bottom outside edges to so the block would slide in.

If your having issues with the slide it may be that the locking block is not far enough inserted which would cause the front and rear rails to be mis-aligned. This could possibly be fixed by filing down the rail a touch. The 1st build I did some light filing to get it to run smoothly then some more when I added the aftermarket slide. 2nd build both front and rear sit a touch high but didn’t cause any issues, 3rd build sit fairly flush and cycles great but hasn’t been actually fired yet. I can post some pics of them opened up to show the difference later but there shouldn’t be any gap between the lower and locking block. maybe post a pic of yours with the slide off and I’ll be able to see the issue.

So, to be clear, I can get the locking block itself in, I think evenly, but the rails the slide rides on seem too wide. Are you guys altering those at all? The problem is before it ever hits the rear rails, and it doesn't seem like the slide is impacting the frame or anything obvious like that.

Are you sure that the slide lock spring is fully inserted into it's groove and not interfering with the action spring?
