Hoping Rossi will start up production of their 16" stainless .357s again. Missed out the last time and regretted it.

I got two Marlin’s 1894 in 44 mag and 45 Colt last year for a great price but I’m happy with the Rossi 92 in 357 mag I just got at the Frederick gun show. I would rather have a 39a be released.

So although I made the post on the Marlin , I would say they are going to need to stay in a price point close to the Rossi. Anything close to the Henry price and why would anyone get a Remlin over a Henry. I guess only cause you wanted the loading gate and you did not want a Rossi?

It will be interesting to see what the price is when it possibly hits Walmart, Buds, Cabelas and Basspro even though I’d rather personally pay $50 more and get from an IP and skip all the shipping and cafeteria fees anyway

I hope they sell very well (in the past, haven't we referred to Marlin making .357's again like printing money? I know I have...and I didn't make it up myself), and Marlin realizes the market they've been missing out on...then starts making them with long octagonal barrels :fingerscrossed: (maybe in .44-40 too:innocent0)

    ...and stainless?

Smart move by Marlington. If they can get them to market for $550-600 (despite the $800 MSRP), they will sell.

The Rossi M92, at normal retail prices of $450-600 for the different 357 Magnum models when production makes it to retailers, is a great rifle for the money ... but availability sucks.

They will sell well but I hope they make some in lighter stocks. The current production 1894s have very thick stocks and are heavy. They are larger, heavier and not that much better than the Rossi. Lever guns should be light, utilitarian and robustly built.

Well see what they look like.

Has anyone seen any of the new 357 marlin 1894s in the wild yet? It looks like the 1894C model might be for sale, but I'm anxiously awaiting the threaded version.
