Hi I'm new to the AR15's. I bought a Del-Ton carbine rifle kit. Problem app rears to happen when the rifle gets hot. Some rounds won't fire and sometimes I'll reload the round it'll fire.
I cleaned and lubed the BCG and the same thing happened. I'm shooting American Eagle black and green boxed ammo.
What's the the next steps to preform to resolve this on my own first before going to gun smith/Del-Ton?

Throw up a picture of your lower (the FCG) and the tip of the firing pin. Also check your firing pin potrusion.

Didn't even think of that. Lol

I figured it makes sense to get info on what's hitting the firing pin before seeing if it's an out of spec firing pin or something more complicated.

Correct pin protrusion falls between .028 and .035 for go. Any more or less will be a no-go.

Sounds like your tolerances are changing as the gun heats up. Do you have another bolt assembly to try?

I think I found the possible problem.

Yeppers, it can also cause it to go full auto. When you tear apart yiur FCG also take out your trigger and make sure the disconnector spring is installed with the fat end facing down.
