I'd rather spend that money on ammo or towards another firearm. I'm not one to spend money on a conversation piece. But that's just me. You do what makes you happy.

    Good luck!

These things are aimed at the living history folks. Most of those I have met have inert weapons. In some cases, they should never be around real firearms.

One year at Fort Meade, John Pepper invited some living history folks to come and shoot at the range. Remember, these people are used to pointing guns (inert or blank only) at other people. Guess what happened when we let them handle REAL firearms. They were swinging loaded guns around like they were doing a re-enactment.

That was the last time they were ever invited for a live fire event.

    How well can you wield?

A normal person with two working arms should be able to wield it, it isn't like the RPG was crew served weapon. :D

As to if its weldable I am sure it is but it will take time and a good pit of grinding work to make it look like it never was from the outside.

You could wield it two-handed like a melee weapon.

Very cool. I'd prolly get one if I came across one for $75 somewhere at a gun show or something.

Welding it shouldn't be a problem. Finding a new firing pin would be the difficult part. Then the paperwork for a destructive device would have to be completed before you start this process.

I really hope I'm not the only one that gets your subtle humor!

I just dog piled on Jrumann59's observation.

Some threads though I either hear crickets or get inter-thread butthurt.

You're right, Jrumann59 got it started. The levity is always appreciated even though it is rarely recognized.
