Ok, so as my build starts coming together, I now get to springs.
Upper specs:
WOA 18" rifle gas 5.56 Wylde
VLTOR MUR upper
SLR Sentry 7 gas block
SLR rail
MSTN QC brake
Lower:
RRA lower with RRA 2-stage tuned trigger that was used when it was used for service rifle matches.
Now, I'm still not sure if the Tubbs flatwire spring would be best with a regular weight buffer, or if I should go with something fancy like the JP silent captured spring setup (I have a 10% coupon from JP).
Also, since I'm using the SLR GB there really shouldn't be any need in dicking around with different buffer weights (whether I use a carbine if I use the ACS or rifle if I keep the A2), right?
