    Any idea whether the Aero A4 clone is MD legal? Looks like an HBAR to me but the barrel profile is classified as M16/A4.

    Ask them if it's an HBAR. MSP relies on how the manufacturer describes it.

    I have a A4 clone that I'm working on as well. That isn't compatible since the barrel is govt profile if you look at the barrel towards the front sight base. If you want I could put the links to what my build consists of.

    Govt. profile has nothing to do with HBAR as far as MSP is concerned. Sold or advertised as an HBAR, that’s it.

    Haven’t seen a MD-legal A4 clone for sale. Probably something you’d have to build.

    I like the idea of the Colt AR15A4 factory rifles, but they’re Government profile. I’d like to get one of those lowers; I’ve seen a few parted out on Gunbroker.
